Looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauties British Columbia has to offer?
The harbour city of Nanaimo has been just the place to seize these valuable comforts since its life began in the early 19th century. Robins' Grove complex was built to compliment the feel and visual style of Nanaimo's downtown core and to give its residents an up close and personal introduction into the city's lively and welcoming way of life on the west coast.
Robins' Grove was named after Samuel Robins, the Vancouver Coal Company Mine superintendent from 1884 to 1903. Robins helped shape Nanaimo by contributing his passion for gardening and collecting exotic plants and trees by planting a variety of beautiful trees in the city as well as filling his own property with trees and lavish gardens. Although Samuel Robbins' grand home no longer stands in Nanaimo, the property, located downtown on Milton Street, still supports the beautiful trees he planted and has been incorporated into the design of the new Robins' Grove complex.
The residents of Robins' Grove can now enjoy the same beauty and comfort that Samuel Robins' sought to bring to downtown Nanaimo so many years ago, but with the added high-end luxuries of the 21st century.
Robins' Grove complex was built to reflect the heritage style of buildings that existed 100 years ago and to marry that style to modern technology and quality. The complex is situated within walking distance to Nanaimo's waterfront promenade as well as the twenty minute seaplane and Helijet services to Vancouver and Victoria. Robins' Grove is also within walking distance of the best food, shopping, and entertainment that Nanaimo has to offer - providing the utmost convenience for its residents' day-to-day needs.
